September 14, 2017 - Blog Pages
Another awesome day with the Atlassian community! Here’s some of our highlights, many more of which can be found on our Twitter feed.
We adored Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes highlighting the company’s latest updates, most especially the growth of the Marketplace — because as it happens, we’re proud to announce that our swarmOS Analyzer just joined Atlassian’s store as well.

Mike then brought on team members who work on Trello, who had some impressive updates of their own to make:
Whoa @trello now has 25 MILLION registered users and just announced a desktop app! #atlassiansummit pic.twitter.com/56dDmEsuU6

… and someone who explained how Atlassian products were helping literally to save lives:
Awesome to see how @BeTheMatch leverages @JIRA & @Confluence to help connect donors & patients to save lives. #atlassiansummit pic.twitter.com/RNNWhBj9Ai

A team from LinkedIn told us how they wrangled the beast that was the company’s Jira issues database:

By implementing governance to its #Jira, LinkedIn was able to quickly get the growth of issues until control. pic.twitter.com/0t0V5pG2nA

… while Atlassian’s head of diversity explained how the company had succeeded at building diverse teams where most other tech companies have fallen far shorter.
Fascinating how @Atlassian builds diverse teams, removing “culture fit” as a hiring factor. — @adblanche at #AtlassianSummit17 pic.twitter.com/I7jRUl8isz

“Instead of looking for ‘culture fit’, look for ‘culture ADD’; diverse teams perform better.” — @adblanche at #AtlassianSummit pic.twitter.com/L2rtRH24DP

We were also excited to deep dive into Atlassian’s new Stride platform, which we think has some potentially potent features:
Killer feature for @AtlassianStride: Focus mode, so teammates know you’re heads-down for specific time & purpose. #AtlassianSummit pic.twitter.com/9tTELpG3V3

2 huge features in @AtlassianStride: Add non-Stride users to a Stride voice call, and “X would like to speak” visual pop-up cue. pic.twitter.com/0iyG4574Op

Speaking of potent, there was that wildly-anticipated Bash party to attend:

Cheers to everyone at Atlassian who made today possible, and to every member of the Atlassian community we were lucky to meet!
